Robert has learning disabilities and works for The Advocacy Project. His role involves ensuring that the voices and perspectives of people with learning disabilities inform decision making by his local council. He has been raising awareness of the right to vote amongst people with learning disabilities, helping them understand the easy read manifestos, and making sure that they know where the polling stations are, how to get there, and know how to indicate their preferred candidate on the day.
