2022 has been a big year for human rights in the UK, what with the political musical chairs, the proposed repeal of the Human Rights Act, calls to withdraw from our international obligations, the cost-of-living crisis and workers across different industries going on strike for better pay and conditions.

That is not to mention the war in Ukraine and the human rights controversies surrounding this year’s FIFA World Cup.
