Shadae Cazeau joined National Independent Advisory Group EQUAL as the Head of Policy in December 2019 having worked at the Independent Office for Police Conduct prior. Shadae is a qualified barrister with over 7 years’ experience of influencing policy, advocacy, and investigations, including investigations into police complaints. Shadae is passionate about representing minoritised communities and has undertaken significant pro bono work including formerly directing a free legal advice clinic.
